Mr. Gorman provided Clackamas Community College with engineering and site design services for a total redesign of the existing Environmental Learning Center (ELC) portion of the campus. He redesigned the 6-acre site to maximize the educational, recreational, stormwater quantity control, stormwater quality enhancement, and native habitat components of the site. He worked closely with the college and the public to produce a design that balances the need for stormwater management, education, and habitat values. His design includes habitat improvements for several Oregon species listed as “Sensitive-Critical”, including the western painted turtle, western pond turtle, and red-legged frog.
